New St Kilda international scholarship holder Barclay Miller will be representing the NZ Hawks.

The Hawks team last played the AFL Academy in January 2014 at Wellingtons Westpac Stadium where the New Zealanders performed well against the elite youth of Australia but were defeated by a mere 4 points.

This years game will be played on the eve of ANZAC Day at Westpac Stadium kicking off at 9.30am. This will coincide with the AFL KiwiKick Stadium Festival Day where 3000 students from local Primary and Intermediate will be at the stadium to show there to support for the Hawks.

A rivalry is beginning to develop between the New Zealand Hawks and the AFL Academy. After competitive matches between the two sides over the past 3 years, the New Zealand Hawks will be looking to record their first win over the visitors.

The Hawks team will feature several International Scholarship recipients that no doubt have the talent but will need to overcome the skill and speed of the AFL Academy contingent.

We invite everyone to get to Westpac Stadium at 9.30am and support the New Zealand Hawks.

Gates Open: 9.00am

Kick off: 9.30am
