Northern Suns secure White and Ilaua

17 Nov, 2017

The Northern Suns have announced that they will add Auckland based players Josh White and Jonathon Ilaua to their retained players list for the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

The players have been retained through Category 1 of the Retained Players List (RPL): Retention of Auckland based players who have not played for the New Zealand Senior team over the past 12 months.

Josh White

Josh White has been retained by the Northern Suns for the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

Currently playing for the North Shore Tigers in the Auckland AFL, White spends most of his time playing off the wing who can move into the forward line.

With sound knowledge of the game, Josh will look to stamp his mark on the national competition in 2018.

Jonathon Ilaua

Jonathon Ilaua is the last retained player for the Northern Suns for the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

The 21 year old is a handy small forward who is smart at positioning himself around the contest to receive the ball.

A passionate and loyal club member of the Mt Roskill Saints in the Auckland AFL, watch for Jonathon to make an impact in 2018.
