2018 AFLNZ Premiership Round 8 Team of the Week
10 Apr, 2018
Each week throughout the 2018 Premiership season, AFL New Zealand will announce the ‘Team of the week’ which will feature the 24 best players from the previous weekends round.
This week’s side is packed full of youth with 12 players in the side all under the age of 20.
Sam Burdett headlines the backline after his best on ground performance for the Crows. Burdett is joined by the in form Alex Awatere and Giants defender Brad Ingram.
Ryan White and Jake Tucker put in a solid performance for the Crows and feature in the midfield while up front, Robbie Mostert kicked four goals for the Suns in their victory over the Saints.
One glaring omission from this week’s side is Western Crows midfielder Shane Leat. Leat has featured in every team so far this season as misses out for the first time.
