Giants secure experience for 2019 Premiership

The Central Giants have announced the retention of Brad Ingram and Sean Andrews for the 2019 AFL New Zealand Premiership season.

 

The pair were retained under Category 3 of the Retained Players List (RPL).

RPL 3 is the Retention of Auckland based players. (Up to 5 players retained).

Ingram and Andrews join James Dakin, Tristan Burnett and Elliot Bennetts as the other players retained in that category.

Brad Ingram

Brad Ingram from the University Blues in the Auckland is a valuable key forward who can take strong aerial marks.

The 25 year old is an accurate shot on goal and with a healthy midfield delivering quality footy into the forward line, Ingram will link in nicely with 2018 Golden Boot James McKenzie.

 

Sean Andrews

Sean Andrews has been retained by the Central Giants for the 2019 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

It will be the 24 year old’s fourth season with the Giants and also takes a strong mark.

Sean can play both in attack and defence and is ever reliable on the footy field and currently plays for the Manurewa Raiders in the Auckland AFL.
