
Young talent snapped up by the Crows

The Western Crows have announced Josh Copeland and Luke Williams have been retained 2020 Premiership season.
Josh and Luke are retained under Category 2 of the Retained Players List (RPL).
RPL 2 is the Retention of Auckland based players.
Josh Copeland
Former Number 1 Draft pick (2017) Josh Copeland has been retained for another season.
It will be his fourth season with the Crows after a one year stint with the Northern Suns in 2016.
The 22 year old is a key defender in the backline and his talent fly’s under the radar.
Copeland has represented New Zealand at both U16 and U18 level and plays for Auckland club side, the Waitakere Magpies.
Luke Williams
2019 Western Crows debutant will remain at the Crows for another season.
Luke was a 2018 Rising star award winner and was the Captain of the Level 2 Academy side in 2018 before being selected in the NZ U18 side two years in a row.
Luke plays for the Howick Hornets in the Auckland AFL and doesn’t shy away from a contest and is hard at the football.
