Senior New Zealand Hawks

The New Zealand Hawks represents AFL New Zealand as its premier team and plays against a selection of touring Australian teams as well participating in the International Cup every three years .

The New Zealand Hawks were last winners of the International Cup in 2005 defeating Papua New Guinea in the grand final played at the MCG in front of 30,000 people.

NZ Hawks next scheduled fixture is against the AFL Academy at Westpac Stadium to be played in April 2016.

Junior New Zealand Representative teams

There are also a number of age group representative teams, U14, U16 and U18.

New Zealand Hawks are selected from the respective Academy age groups and either tour in Australia or play a touring Australian based team every April.
