The Team of the week for Round 9 of the 2017 AFL New Zealand Premiership has been announced.
The final team of the week features a raft of experience with regular Andriu Sucu headlining the backline. He is joined by Saints best on ground Josh Cunliffe and Giants player of the day Chris Bailey.
A very stacked midfield is lead by Northern Suns best and fairest Will Dickinson and Western Crows best and fairest Jay Johnson. Saints ruckman Tyler Paull has had an outstanding debut season and deserves his spot in the final week.
A 7 goal haul from Saints forward Justin Du Toit earns him a spot up front in the forward line as the competitions leading goal kicker and runner up Jordan Drinkall (Suns) and Sam McKenzie (Saints) make the side for the last time this season.
The AFLNZ Premiership Team of the Year will be announced at the upcoming High Performance Awards in Wellington on Saturday April 22nd and will be released online following on from that announcement.
