Hailing from the Auckland’s North Shore and a member of the Waitakere Magpies Club in Auckland, Gresham is an accurate goal scorer who can take a solid mark and uses his agility to crumb off his marking forwards.
Looking ahead to 2017, Jamie is excited about heading back to the Giants under new coach Rob Malone and is looking forward to the AFL New Zealand 2016 National Draft to see who his new team mates will be.
Max Stuart
Northlander Max Stuart will remain a Central Giant for the 2017 AFL New Zealand Premiership.
Max has been involved with New Zealand Hawks age group representative teams over the past 3 years and will provide the Giants Premiership side with a talented and reliable young player.
Generally positioned in the backline, Max can also play multiple roles on the field and is a quiet achiever whose growing knowledge of defensive positioning will be helpful to the success of the Giants campaign.
Chai Proctor
The Central Giants have retained Chai Proctor for season 2017.
The Otago based defender impressed during his debut season and will come back even stronger, faster and more experienced when the competition kicks off in February next year.
Chai is an first choice athlete with a resume that include a variety of sports including Rowing, Rugby, Soccer and Basketball but he is determined to make a name for himself in the sport of AFL.
The 17 year old has been travelling to Christchurch during the Canterbury AFL season to play for the University Cougars side and will be a valuable player for the Otago Riot during the upcoming NPC tournament in Wellington.
