The Team of the week for Round 2 of the 2017 AFL New Zealand Premiership has been announced.
This weeks team features a vast array of players picked up in the 2016 National Draft. Following his Best on Ground performance, Adam Simpson (Crows) features in the backline with Saints recruit Justin Du Toit and Suns defender Callum Mclean joining him. In the midfield, Central Giants Captain Dave Rattenbury and Carlos Donnell-Brown (Southern Saints) deserve their spot after outstanding games during Round 2. After his 3 goal haul, Joey Alesich-Tamariki makes his second appearance this season in the forward line along with Saints small forward Seb Serrano and overseas player Brendan Clark positioned at Centre half forward.
