Saints secure southern superstars

The Southern Saints have announced the signings of Josh Robles, Josh Mackie and Keegan Wilson for the 2022 Men’s Premiership season.

Josh Mackie will make his long awaited return to the Premiership, where he will run out for the Southern Saints next season.

From Otago, the former Northern Suns star has been the Captain of the NZ U18 side and was a pivotal member in the Suns squad for four seasons.

His agility along with his height gives him the ability to take strong marks but also the attribute of evading players which showed in his performances in past seasons of the Premiership.

Mid Canterbury Eagles captain, Josh Robles is a beast in the midfield and will be looking to make more of an impact in 2022.

Robles won a Premiership with the Saints in 2020 and is capable to winning the Best and Fairest in 2022.

Keegan Wilson made his debut for the Southern Saints in 2018 and can’t wait to get stuck into pre-season training ahead of the new season.

Playing for the Eastern Blues Football Club in the Canterbury AFL, Wilson plays alongside fellow Saints, Jay Johnson and Kieran Charlton.
