Tigers duo set to fire up the Suns

The North Shore Tigers duo of Ben Armstrong and Joseph Alesich-Tamariki will suit up for the Northern Suns in the 2022 Men’s Premiership.

The pair were part of the Premiership winning Giants side in 2021 but will move north to the Suns, with the aim of winning the side’s first flag.

Small forward Joseph Alesich-Tamariki continues to be a threat in the forward line.

Alesich-Tamariki’s has finished runner up in the Golden Boot award twice in his Premiership career and will be pushing to take out the title in 2022.

Former Rising Star award winner Ben Armstrong continues to develop his game and is now a key positional player.

His pace on the footy field means he can swing the momentum of the game in the blink of an eye.

Ben has been involved in two New Zealand Under 18 tours to Melbourne and has the goal of one day playing for the National Senior side.

Ben made a name for himself in 2014 when he broke the Australasian record of 7.64 seconds for the agility test at the AFL New Zealand National combine.
