Western Crows Midfielder takes out 3km time trial

Western Crows midfielder Matt Kemp (Auckland) has taken out the 3km time trial for the AFLNZ Premiership.

Players from all over the country were tested as part of the high performance programme with Kemp clocking in at a time of 10.03.

With the Premiership playing group all back on the track, Kemp blitzed the field with versatile Northern Suns key-position player Will Dickinson finishing second with new Western Crows recruit Nick Bailey finishing third.

All four squads have been training hard and are itching to get out on the park for round one of the Premiership which is just over a week away.

Premiership games are held at QBE Stadium in Albany, Auckland and are played on Sunday’s starting on February 12th and running through to April 9th. Game one kicks off at 11.30am followed by game two at 1.45pm.
