Premiership squad additions produce some hidden gems

The culmination of local Domestic Leagues in Canterbury, Wellington and Auckland will see the commencement of preseason training for the AFL New Zealand Premiership.

In the lead in to pre season training the Crows have announced a number of additions to their Premiership squads.

Alex Fakatoumafi sustained a knee injury on the eve of the 2020 Premiership but returned strongly in 2021. The former NZ International plays as a key forward and knows how to kick a goal. One of Alex’s highlights in his Premiership career was kicking a whopping 10 goals for the match against his new side, the Western Crows in round 9 of 2018.

University Blues duo Lachlan Kennedy and James Ellison also been retained by the Crows following the 2022 season cancellation.

Raiders pair Luke Lentner and Isaac Piper have both graduated through Academy ranks and will be looking to impact for the Western Crows in 2023
