Kiwis in the AFL: Williams thriving on a second chance at North Melbourne

Marley Williams football career is flourishing at the North Melbourne footy club.

 

Marley Williams was born in Albany, Western Australia and is of Maori decent from his father who previously lived in Wagin as a teenager.

Marley Was drafted in 2012 to the Collingwood Football Club through the rookie draft. After his debut against Adelaide, he was able to become a regular in the Collingwood line up before being traded to the North Melbourne Football Club at the end of the 2016 season.

He now dons the number 2 Guernsey and is a key player off the half back line for the Kangaroos.
