The New Zealand Falcons Pacific Cup Squad has been officially announced, marking an exciting milestone ahead of their campaign in November which kicks off on the 17th through to the 25th.
The team will represent New Zealand in the 2024 Pacific Cup, an international event that will see nations from across the Pacific region compete on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The Pacific Cup is part of a broader AFL international program, alongside the Transatlantic and Asia Cups.
Taking place at the state-of-the-art Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex the Cup will feature both male and female teams with the tournament promising to be a vibrant celebration of AFL, with hundreds of players, officials, and fans from across the region expected to attend.
The Falcons squad, selected based on performances in the premiership and the Falcons vs All Stars game, will now train within their regions, focusing on building fitness and refining their skills. Congratulations to all those selected for this prestigious opportunity to represent New Zealand on the international stage!
