2019 AFL Finals: Broadcast Schedule Week 3

Four teams remain in the hunt to become the 2019 AFL Premiers and come Saturday night we will know who will be facing off in next week’s Grand Final at the MCG.

Last Friday, the Geelong Cats had a strong finish to knock out defending Premiers, the West Coast Eagles. This Friday night at 9.30pm (NZT), the Cats face a much tougher task as they take on the red hot Richmond Tigers from the MCG.

The Tigers are the form team right now and with squad members like Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin and Bachar Houli, Richmond will be hard to beat.

On Saturday evening at 6.30pm (NZT), the Collingwood Magpies and GWS Giants will meet in the second Preliminary Final with the winner to book their spot in next Saturday’s Grand Final.

The Giants are yet to make the AFL Grand Final but will be full of confidence to beat the Magpies after their last 2 wins over the Western Bulldogs and the Brisbane Lions.

The Magpies last tasted Premiership glory in 2010 and after finishing Runner up in 2018, they will be hoping to defeat the Giants and have another tilt at the title on September 28.

Both Preliminary Finals will be shown live on Sky Sport.
