A wider NZ U18 squad has been announced in preparation for their 2019 tour to Melbourne, Australia where they will play two games against a Mornington Peninsula Interleague side and a local Secondary School from the region.
Cantabrian Izaak Williams has been announced as the Head Coach and will be supported by Mick Coultard, Callum Hill and Samuel McKenzie as Assistant Coaches.
28 year old Williams was at the helm in May this year as the team made history by becoming the first U18 side to win on Australian soil. Izaak is also the head coach of the 2018 AFLNZ Premiers, the Central Giants and Canterbury Premiers, the Christchurch Bulldogs.
The tour will provide the team an insight into Australian club football and attending an AFL game at Etihad Stadium along with more details which will be released closer to the time.
