The Western Crows will head into the 2020 AFL New Zealand Premiership eager to become the first side in the competitions history to win back to back titles.
Key figures Te Kopa Tipene-Thomas, Jay Johnson (Captain), Shane Leat and Jay Green were all retained in the off season and will no doubt play a big role once again this season.
2019 Golden Boot winner Sam Anderson also returns and will look to make a big impact in the forward line once again.
A big signing at the National Draft was former Central Giant Blake Nahu. Nahu will look to make an impact from the first bounce in round 1 of February 9th.
The Crows have a well balanced side and can win it again this season.
Player to watch: Jay Green
Reigning Premiership Best and Fairest Jay Green will return to play his second season in 2020.
Green is a ball magnet and a very exciting player to watch.
A great runner of the football, Jay may be small in stature but he has a massive impact on the field popping up all over the ground.
Look for Jay to link with Te Kopa Tipene-Thomas and Shane Leat in the midfield.
Get excited: Blake Nahu
Blake Nahu from the Waikato has made a big impact in the sport in a short amount of time.
Nahu has been a part of NZ Warriors development sides in the past and brings relative Rugby League skills over to the game of AFL.
Now in his fourth season and having grown into a senior player, Nahu will be one of the top players in 2020.
