Acknowledgement for Academy Level 1 squad

With the postponement of the Mornington Peninsula New Zealand tour originally scheduled for next weekend, AFL New Zealand would like to acknowledge the participants selected for the AFL New Zealand Academy Level 1 squad.

Currently, AFL New Zealand and the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League will investigate the opportunity to reschedule the tour to October 2020. Dependencies on a changes to current health and travel restrictions and the scheduling of school holidays in both Australia and New Zealand, will come into consideration.

The AFL New Zealand Academy began on February 9th throughout New Zealand with athletes participating in skill development, athletic testing, game play and personal development over a 7 week period in a lead up to the campaign which was to be held on April 3-6 this year.

All players selected have shown dedication, commitment and hard work throughout the duration of the AFL New Zealand Academy. Our dedicated coaching staff has noted the development of skills both on and off the field.
