Due to the current environment surrounding global health issues, the upcoming AFL New Zealand international tours have been postponed.
This includes;
April 3 to 6, 2020 AFL New Zealand Level 1, Level 2 and Youth Girls vs Mornington Peninsula JFL. Auckland, New Zealand.
April 21 to 26, 2020 New Zealand Under 18’s vs MPJFL and AFL Outer East. Melbourne, Australia.
April 23 to 27, 2020 ANZAC Senior Men’s vs AFL Academy, Melbourne, Australia.
Please note there has been no change in status for the Men’s and Women’s International Cup Campaigns scheduled for July August, at this stage. Updates will be provided as we monitor advice from World Health Organisations and the New Zealand government.
The opportunity to reschedule the current postponements exists and AFLNZ will work with partners to determine timelines once the current status of travel has improved.
Squad announcements will be communicated to ensure the efforts of participants involved are noted. If you have made a financial contribution towards the outlined postponed tours, a refund will be provided.
For prompt repayment, bank account details should be forwarded to georgina@aflnz.co.nz to assist with processing.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation in the midst of the current health crisis.
The AFL New Zealand Premiership will continue as scheduled for the remaining 3 rounds of competition on March 22, March 29, and finals day on April 5.
The team at AFL New Zealand looks forward to your continued participation.
For further advice please contact AFL New Zealand by email playafl@aflnz.co.nz to assist us with our communication processes.
Thank you.
