The coaching staff for the AFL New Zealand Academy Level 1, Level 2 and Youth Girls has been announced ahead of their upcoming campaign against the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League in April.
The tour will take place at North Harbour Stadium from April 3rd – 6th and it will see the league return to New Zealand for the fourth year. The tour has previously held significant links to the ANZAC spirit, accentuating the links that exist between New Zealand and Australia over our histories.
The tour will have a variety of cultural, football and friendship experiences available to the travelling teams.
All games will be played at North Harbour Stadium in Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. With the travelling supporter base continuing to grow, healthy crowds are expected.
Following on from the International weekend, AFL New Zealand will have an Under 18 National team travel to Mornington in Melbourne where they will firstly link with Mornington League, before playing a game against local opposition and a chance to visit the home of AFL for a great experience.
Congratulations to all the Coaching and Management staff
