Central Giants retain the Andrews

The Central Giants have announced that they will add Auckland based players Andrew Johnston and Sean Andrews to their retained players list for the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

The players have been retained through Category 1 of the Retained Players List (RPL): Retention of Auckland based players who have not played for the New Zealand Senior team over the past 12 months.

Sean Andrews

Sean Andrews has been retained by the Central Giants for the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

It will be the 23 year old’s third season with the Giants and his strong hands and accurate goal kicking will assist experienced forward James Bowden in the forward line.

Sean is a current member of the Manurewa Raiders in the Auckland AFL.

Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston will play his second season for the Central Giants in the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership.

The physical defender made his debut during the 2017 season and provided stability in the Giants backline.

Andrew is a current member of the Waitakere Magpies who are aiming for back to back Premierships in the 2017 Auckland AFL competition.
