Canterbury Rising star Luke De Roo has been retained by the Western Crows for the 2021 AFLNZ Premiership season.
Luke won the round 5 Rising star in 2020 which came off the back of a number of consistent games for the Crow’s.
Luke is from Canterbury and currently attends St. Bedes College in Christchurch. He has wonderful hand and foot skills for someone who is only new to the game and is currently playing as a swingman at either half back or half forward as he continues to develop.
Western Crows Head Coach Matt Cawley is excited about Luke’s future in the game.
“Luke was a beneficial acquisition for the Crows last season. He has an endless amount of potential, and will likely end up a very secure and strong Centre Half Back or Centre Half Forward. I was so pleased to be able to retain him for 2021 and you will see him in a Falcons guernsey for many years to come.”
