Eastern Blues dominate Canterbury awards night

One of the biggest nights on the Canterbury AFL calendar of events, the 2021 CAFL awards were held at the Carlton Bar with the majority of the footy community attending the evening.

Eastern Blues star Dan Farrar capped off a super consistent season by winning the 2021 Best & Fairest player award.

Andrew Leckie took out Coach of the Year after guiding the Eastern Blues to the 2021 Grand Final.

The Rookie of the Year went to Josh Charlton from the Eastern Blues. Josh os the younger brother of NZ U18 player of the year, Kieran.
