A combined AFL Kiwikick Afterschool programme between Mairehau School & St Albans School has been deemed a big success after the programme reached 34 participants with more kids seeking opportunities to register.
Driving this success is our Canterbury Regional Coordinator Maya Woods. Starting the role midway throught his year, Maya has been hard at work delivering to schools and building AFL’s presence throughout the Canterbury region. The combined afterschool programme is the first AFL Kiwikick Afterschool programme that has been run in the region and showcases the potential for AFL within the region.
