Former NZ age group Captain returns to the Premiership

Former New Zealand U16 Captain Utu Ah Kuoi will return to the AFL New Zealand Premiership in 2020 as he strives to make the International Cup squad in Australia.

Ah Kuoi made his senior New Zealand debut in 2015 against the AFL Academy in his home town of Wellington and was involved in the debut season of the Premiership in 2016.

The 2014 Under 16 Player of the year is full of talent and impressed AFL selectors at the 2015 combine where he won the 20m sprint with a time of 2.9 seconds

Utu will be hot on everyone’s draft list for next Tuesday night and would be a good fit at the Central Giants who are lacking a hard running midfielder.

The 2019 AFL New Zealand National Draft will take place Tuesday November 26th.
