The Central giants have retained Kirk Murray and Joe Cole for the 2024 AFL New Zealand Premiership season. The two talls will be key assets for the Giants, as they work towards a third straight Premiership title.
Kirk Murray’s height, mobility and skill level make him huge asset around the ground. Capable of playing in the Ruck, or as a key Forward or Back, Kirk can slot seamlessly into wherever he is needed and can be an intimidating figure to go up against.
Joe Cole is a promising talent and is dedicated to his craft. The young Wellingtonian is extremely coachable and his game goes form strength to strength every season. As a mobile player capable of playing in the Ruck, Joe can help create a mismatch by having a tall player at either end of the ground.
The Giants will be looking to make a run for the Premierships first ever 3-peat, and are equipping themselves with the talent to be able to do it.
