Ben Armstrong and Troy Brown will once again run out for the Central Giants in the 2021 AFL New Zealand Premiership after the pair were retained this afternoon.
Ben Armstrong is turning into a well rounded footballer after developing his game over the past 12 months.
Originally hailing from the small Northland town of Moerewa, Ben is now based in Auckland.
His pace on the footy field means he can swing the momentum of the game in the blink of an eye.
Ben has been involved in two New Zealand Under 18 tours to Melbourne and has the goal of one day playing for the National Senior side.
The former Bay of Islands College student made a name for himself in 2014 when he broke the Australasian record of 7.64 seconds for the agility test at the AFL New Zealand National combine.
North Shore Tigers forward Troy Brown will play his third season for the Central Giants in 2020.
Known for his strong contested marks, Brown formerly played for the Southern Saints where he won a Premiership in 2017.
Troy will team nicely with Armstrong in the forward line as the Giants look to regain the Premiership trophy in 2021.
