Mt Roskill Saints superstars Tristan Burnett and Mitch Weir have been retained by the Central Giants for the 2021 AFL New Zealand Premiership.
The Central Giants will have the services of tough midfielder Tristan Burnett for the 2021 Premiership season.
Burnett has been a key member of the Giants over the past five seasons playing a pivotal role in the midfield.
After another successful season in 2020, Burnett was named runner up in the clubs Best and Fairest.
Aucklander Mitch Weir made his debut for the Central Giants in 2020 and excelled in his first season in the national competition.
Weir was a steal in the 2019 national draft and soon became a key midfielder in the side.
His form throughout the season saw him selected in the Premiership selection side to play the Redtails Footy Club back in March this year.
“The Premiership was a great experience! The organisers, facilities and passion the sport was played with over the season was very memorable. Looking forward to playing for the Giants again in 2021!”
