Howard Gilbert has been announced as the coach for the Western Ravens 2024 Women’s Premiership campaign.
Howard has a strong foundation when it comes to the Women’s game. He led the way in implementing the Auckland AFL Women’s league, who are now into their fourth season and has involved in the previous three seasons of the national competition.
The new season will bring an exciting new challenge for the Ravens, as they open the 2024 season against the newly formed, Canterbury based Southern Stars, in the first Women’s Premiership game played outside of Auckland.
The AFL New Zealand Women’s Premiership starts February 25th 2024
