The University Blues pair of Tyrone Stubbs and Seb Serrano are the latest retained players for the Central Giants list in 2021.
Exciting youngster Sebastian Serrano will return to Premiership footy in 2021.
The 21 year old Aucklander has shown maturity and experience in his short time playing AFL.
A former Captain of a NZ representative side, Serrano shows leadership, courage and determination on the field.
With leadership qualities and consistent development, Seb could be a regular name in the senior New Zealand side in years to come.
Serrano is a very tenacious player, hard at the contest and has continued to develop his skill and link play over the years.
From Auckland, Stubbs has only been playing the game for a short time but standing at 6 foot 2, he makes a big impression on the footy field.
An AFL New Zealand Rising Star from round 3 this season, Stubbs has continued to develop his game through the Auckland AFL with the Uni Blues and is getting stronger each week.
Giants assistant coach Izaak Williams is excited to have him back in 2021.
“Tyrone was a great addition to the Giants backline this season and looking forward to getting more out of him next year.. He has a great attitude, runs hard all game, always putting in 2nd & 3rd Efforts, continues to make great tackles and takes strong defensive marks.
