Mid Canterbury Eagles stars Finn Moffat and Sam Anderson will be available for selection at this year’s national draft in the Academy graduate category and with a number of coaches from the Canterbury region, they will all be vying for duo in their squad for 2019.
Finn Moffatt
The AFL New Zealand Rising Star award winner for round 5 in the 2018 AFL New Zealand Premiership has been has been working hard crafting his game for the 2019 season.
Finn exceeded his playing expectations in his role as a development player and is a hard, tough defender.
His physical presence and willingness to take on and apply feedback are all great attributes that will set him up for future representative opportunities.
Finn has represented New Zealand Academy and U18 side and will be looking to develop his game for higher honours in the year’s to come.
Sam Anderson
Sam Anderson brings purpose to training and games and performed well in the 2018 premiership receiving the Rising star award in round 6 this year.
A developing midfidelder, Anderson is hungry for the footy around the contest and uses his fitness and agility to evade the opposition.
