Back in June, AFL New Zealand reached out to the community to submit ideas for a new national team name along with an explanation of why that name is significant to Aotearoa.
After an overwhelming response from the community, AFL New Zealand has now narrowed it down to the four most popular responses and are once again reaching out to the community to decide our national team name.
The final team names are:
New Zealand Falcons
New Zealand Kea
New Zealand Moa
New Zealand Tui
