The Northern Storm have added former golden boot Kristin Farrell to their team list. Farrell now has multiple seasons under her belt, and her experience and goal kicking ability make her a key target up front.
Head Coach Andriu Sucu will already be making plans for his squad, having selected Mia Goodsell-Mathews, Ronja Pfeiffer and Faith Alapati from the North Shore Tigers, who will join retained Tiger teammates, Buell Verkade, Elena Bryham and Emily Hunter.
The Women’s Premiership provides the perfect environment for girls transitioning from the Youth programme and local league formats to senior football with higher numbers involved. The Women’s Premiership features Women from Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington Domestic Leagues. It is the next step in finalising the pathway for women to participate in AFL within New Zealand.
