Head coach of the Magpies in 2021, Peter has been involved with AFL for several years.
From Wellington, Peter is a former player with local team, the North City Demons, and assisted with coaching at both local level and the management of regional youth programmes. Geale has spent several years in a coaching role with the AFLNZ Academy Level 1 as well as his involvement with the New Zealand Kahu Youth Girls for several years.
Auckland based, Fran Serrano has had a long and valuable career as a volunteer with AFL New Zealand High Performance Programmes. His work with Academy teams over the years has mentored and guided New Zealand Youth with his three children all experiencing time within AFL New Zealand Programmes.
The Shakers will come up against the Northern Storm and Western Ravens in the 2023 competition, starting on February 19th in Auckland.
Geale will also take on a role as Assistant Coach of Central Giants in the 2023 AFL New Zealand Premiership.
