South Auckland based Raiders club will supply three new players to the Central Giants.
August King burst onto the Premiership scene in 2019 and had some solid performances on the Suns roster up until 2021. His transition to the Giants will provide with flexibility in both midfield and backline options
King produced some stunning football throughout the 2020 season and was selected as part of the U18 NZ squad to travel to Melbourne.
Arthur Papali’i and Jacob Gordon are new developing players from the Raiders that will require careful guidance in there first season in the AFL New Zealand Premiership. It is hoped that the experience they gain will be of benefit to the Raiders club on their return to Auckland AFL season later in 2023.
