The Southern Saints have retained the services of key defender Nico Donnell-Brown and key forward Harley Jenkins for the 2020 Premiership season.
Nico and Harley are retained under Category 2 of the Retained Players List (RPL).
RPL 2 is the Retention of Auckland based players.
Nico Donnell-Brown
Aucklander Nico Donnell-Brown will be a Southern Saint for the fifth straight season in 2020.
Nico has developed into a talented key defender and is making it harder for his opposition to score each year
With a good performance in next seasons Premiership, Donnell-Brown could be a bolter in the 2020 International Cup squad.
Nico will once again suit up with his brother and Waitakere Magpies team mate Carlos as the pair guide aim to recapture the Premiership Cup.
Harley Jenkins
Harley Jenkins has been labelled ‘an absolute gun’ on the footy field and is a natural athlete with a superb vertical leap.
This showed in his debut season for the Saints in 2019 where he kicked 21 goals and finished runner up in the Golden Boot award behind Sam Anderson.
Jenkins is strong in the air and is knows how to take strong contested marks.
