Seeing double: Kiwi twins reunite at Carlton for 2024 season

Carlton fans will be seeing double this season, with AFL New Zealand Heritage player Celine Moody joining her twin sister Breann Moody in the Navy Blue.

Arriving from the Western Bulldogs, Moody has a high level of experience in the AFLW, playing 42 games, including one finals match.

Standing at 186 centimetres, Moody predominantly plays as a ruck and will complement her twin sister as well as Jess Good.

Head of AFLW Ash Naulty said the acquisition of Moody was a significant one for the Club.

“Celine is such a talented ruck and forward. We’re sure she’ll fit in seamlessly at IKON Park, joining Brea – who was recently crowned our 2023 Best and Fairest – as well as Jess Good.

“She comes to the Club with a lot of experience playing at the AFLW level. Having her out on the field, with the knowledge and football IQ she brings, will only bolster the development of our young and emerging list.

“It will be special for the Moodys to be able to watch Breann and Celine run out and play football together.”
