New Zealand heritage squad member, Ange Stannett has picked up multiple awards at Fremantle’s Best and Fairest night, finishing in third place overall.

25-year-old Stannett was also recognised for her team and Club-first attitude, winning the Players and Best Clubwoman Awards.

Club Captain Hayley Miller, praised Stannett following her great year.

“Ange thoroughly deserved to finish in the top three. We really value players who play specific roles and that was evidenced by our defenders performing well across the board this year.

“She had such a consistent year, playing well on so many good opponents while providing us with rebound out of the back half.”

Ange was selected in the inaugural AFL New Zealand Women’s Heritage team in September last year.
