Western Crows announce squad additions

The Western Crows have included three new signings for the 2023 Premiership season. Luke Williams has been reintroduced to the Crows squad for the first time since 2021. The former Academy graduate and Under 18 New Zealand will look to restart his Premiership career in 2023.

Two newcomers will commence their Premiership careers with Adam Barclay and Drew Clemas both joining the Crows for the first time. Both Barclay and Clemas are past and current students of Green Bay High, a school with a long association with AFL New Zealand development programmes.

Barclay has had an outstanding first season with the Auckland based Waitakere Magpies securing their Most Improved Player Award and should perform well under the guidance of Crows Captain Shane Leat.
