The New Zealand Kahu will play a 2 game series against the Peninsula Saints from South East Victoria in Auckland over the ANZAC Day weekend.
This is the second time a team from the South East Victorian region has travelled over to NZ but a first for the touring Youth Girls team. General Manager of the region Jeremy Bourke, has been successful in creating an annual fixture between the associations in what is hoped to be a long and rewarding partnership.
Following on from the ANZAC Day weekend, AFL New Zealand will have an Under 18 National team travel to AFL South East in Melbourne where they will firstly link with local clubs before playing a game against local opposition and a chance to visit the home of AFL for a great experience.
