From the North City Demons, Waylon Baker will be a player to watch. The 19 year old was part of the Senior New Zealand Hawks team in April this year when they played against the AFL Academy side. Their team also includes New Zealand Hawks representatives Sam Green, Misilifi Faimalo and Sam McKenzie, who is known for his ability to take marks under heavy pressure. These 4 players will also line up in the 2016 AFL New Zealand Premiership which commences in Auckland in February next year.
The Eastern Bulldogs will have a very strong side going into the WAFL final, featuring many players who have represented New Zealand including Stanley Chung and James Terry. Tall ruckman Peter Halstead will also be one to watch out for in the middle of the field.
The Bulldogs will go into this game as favourites, but the Demons from the north have youthful experience and will be looking for a repeat performance from earlier on in the season.
