Wellington:

In the penultimate round of the competition it is good to see improved skill and game knowledge. Both teams showed a strong fight with improved skills but most impressive was the ability for all players to work within their teams to build plays, find space and shepherd their teammates.

The Saints ended up on top with an impressive display of goal kicking from Ryan Awatere as he scored 9 of the 12 goals for the Saints. During the last quarter the Bulldogs did not give up and fought back after slotting a few nice goals.
