Team Manager

Team Manager

All necessary training and information will be provided by AFL New Zealand.

  • You do not have to have a background in AFL to be a great volunteer.
  • Volunteers are not required to attend every week and attendance will be on a rostered basis.

AFL New Zealand staff will also be in attendance on the day to assist with co-ordination of Programme.

Managers will be required to keep the coaches on time. As we are rotating around spaces we are on a tight schedule and if we run late the teams will cut into the session time available.

Managers Task list

A checklist is provided to designated managers to assist with the organisation of tasks to be completed.

The resources that you will require to undertake these tasks will be available at the ground, in storage or in the possession of a designated staff member or volunteer. An AFLNZ coordinator will be on hand to direct you to where your resources can be located.

Teams and participants will be required to assist with set up and pack down and will be allocated tasks by the AFLNZ Coordinator in conjunction with Team Managers. Managers will allocate the task to be completed to players, parents and other staff.
