The Auckland AFL will be hosting a pre-season 9 a side AFL competition, to get new and returning players back into the swing of AFL.
The tournament will be held over one afternoon, at May Road Park in Mt Roskill, on Sunday the 24th of August.
Registration will be at 12.00pm on the Sunday, with matches beginning at 1.00pm.
Teams and individual entries are welcome. To register your interest, email playafl@aflnz.co.nz.
Team entries will cost $100 per team, though this includes lunch of a free barbeque.
The tournament is not limited to those in Auckland. Players and teams from the surrounding regions are also invited to come and have a go at AFL.
There will be one division available, which will be Open Grade full contact. This grade is suitable for adults and older teenagers only.
Entries will be limited to the first 16 teams to enter.
